Whenever I am canoeing I almost always come upon these elusive
beautiful creatures. I usually feel like an intruder as the heron flies away to
a new site each time I get within a certain distance. Once in a while I can get close
enough to snap a reference shot.

Upon finding a scene of tranquil beauty in nature, I am compelled to
share it through my art. I know I have succeeded in my expression when
the viewer also feels this spiritual calmness.
